This year promises to be bigger and better still, with many hundreds of local paddlers, of all persuasions, coming together to attempt the biggest raft up of paddle craft in the world.Mandurah Paddling Club will cover the cost of standard registration for all club members wishing to participate. If you would like a souvenir cap, please donate the $5 to MPC.Please contact Paul to confirm your participation, by 31 March, stating wether you want 'standard' or 'souvenir' entry.Friends and family, friends of family and complete strangers and their friends are also most welcome to come along with us, under their own registration.
Initial details:Meet at Coode Street Car Park, 6am on the 9th.Paddle the short distance up the river to East Perth for the 7am - 9am Raft up and official counting.

Well, it looks very likely that the winds and seas will be favourable for us to run from Mandurah to Shoalwater this Sunday.Meet: 12pm at Doddis Beach, Mandurah. Group 1- Nobby and Des to lead; (non sailing)Rig up and be ready to launch by 12.30 pm.Group 2- Paul to lead; (sailing)Rig up and be ready to launch by 1 pm.Route: Head up the coast, cutting the corners to land at Mersey Point, Shoalwater.Total distance is approx 24kms. Expected duration approx 3 hours.Shuttle: Parking at the put-in. Our volunteer shuttle bunnies; Sonia and John (with the trailer) will meet us at Mersey Point and ferry paddlers back to pick up vehicles.Equipment: Normal requirements for offshore excursion, plus VHF radio if you have one.
